Deodorization

Many odors originate from different sources. If there is a fire, chemical or microbial source, strict methods are set in place to address each issue.

Generally, without removal of a source, deodorization is non-effective. Any source will continue permeation of the surrounding environment by releasing VOC's, or other compounds that are eligible to create the factors warranting removal or remediation.

Light deodorization or a masking agent can be used in light cleaning situations that do not involve long term issues.

Issues that may require more rigorous odor control would be: pet issues, dander, feces, mold, fire damage, smoke or a chemical release.
